In the past ceramic granulation powder is usually dried using pressure type spray drier. This type of equipment has many disadvantages, like large height, high energy consumption and cleaning difficulty. So our engineers have started to develop centrifugal spray granulation dryers since 1992. We have provided in succession 10~50kg powder per hour centrifugal dryers to Huazhong University of Science & Technology (capacitor ceramics), Jiangsu Ceramics Research Center (varistor ceramics), Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (tungsten carbide, alumina), Shanghai Silicate Research Institute (thermistor, alumina), Chaozhou Three-Circle （Group） Co ., Ltd (microwave ceramics), and NanjingChemicalIndustryUniversity (capacitor ceramics). Because the total height of these machines does not exceed 5 meters, it greatly reduces the users’ investment in factory buildings. The advanced hot air system eliminates completely the possibility of oxide scale production so that less pollution is produced. The powder produced by centrifugal spray granulation dryers is better than that produced by pressure type spray dryers in every aspect.
